Addiction Treatment Programs

Cutting-edge programs that set the bar for individualized addiction treatment

Comprehensive, Integrated, Individualized Treatment Programs

Our expert medical and clinical teams work with each patient to understand their unique personal life situation. This includes understanding their relationship with work, family, and loved ones, as well as understanding their physical symptoms and the psychological challenges they face daily. Together, we develop an individualized addiction treatment program for each patient that addresses their physical, emotional, psychological, and social needs. We design our programs to provide patients with the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve successful long-term recovery. Whiterock’s integrated continuum of care allows patients to transition seamlessly between programs when there is a change in the level of support that they need.

Detox

Detoxification (or detox) is the process through which a person stops using the harmful substances, such as drugs or alcohol, to which they are addicted. Whiterock uses medication assisted treatment (MAT) to minimize patients’ withdrawal symptoms and help them detox as safely, comfortably, and quickly as possible. Detox is the essential first step in treating substance use disorders (SUD) and working towards a healthier and happier life in recovery.

Short-Term Residential Addiction Treatment

Residential treatment provides patients with a safe and private environment in which to start their recovery. Residential treatment ensures the thorough assessment and treatment of individuals with severe or complex cases of addiction, and especially for those with concurrent mental health disorders. Individuals with who need stabilization or crisis resolution, or who require around-the-clock observation or care, would benefit from residential treatment.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Whiterock’s Day Program (also known as the partial hospitalization program, or PHP) provides the most intensive level of non-residential care that is available. Our Day Program is suitable for individuals who have been struggling with addiction, but who need a treatment program that allows them to return to their homes in the evenings. Whiterock’s PHP is easily accessible for people living in the Vancouver area.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Whiterock’s intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides a more structured therapeutic environment compared to conventional outpatient programs. However, it requires less time commitment and allows patients more freedom than our Day Program or residential treatment. Whiterock’s close proximity to Vancouver makes our IOP a convenient treatment option for people living in the Vancouver area.
